Le Consort brings together four young musicians who share a common sensibility and enthusiasm. Created at the instigation of Théotime Langlois de Swarte and Justin Taylor, the ensemble explores repertories as varied as they are complementary. Eighteenth-century instrumental music lies at the heart of their project. In June 2017, Le Consort won First Prize and the Audience Prize at the Loire Valley International Early Music Competition. Le Consort is also deeply involved with vocal music. The instrumentalists work closely with the mezzo-soprano Eva Zaïcik. Their work together has resulted in a recording of French cantatas for Alpha Classics.
Le Consort will release this summer a new disc devoted to the Complete Trio Sonatas of Jean-François Dandrieu.
Eva Zaïcik
2018 saw young mezzo-soprano Eva Zaïcik carry off the ‘Revelation Opera Singers’ award at the Victoires de la Musique Classique, as well as prizes in two prestigious international competitions : 2nd Prize in the Queen Elisabeth Competition; and 3rd Prize in the Voix Nouvelles competition. She had already been elected ‘Revelation Opera Singer’ in the ADAMI Young Talent Competition in 2016, the year in which she obtained her Masters in Singing at the Paris Conservatoire with Distinction, after studying with Élène Golgevit. She has performed in many prestigious venues both in France and abroad under the baton of different great conductors.
Eva Zaïcik records exclusively for Alpha Classics.

 • HOLLY FULTON PRESENTATION AT LONDON FASHION WEEK AW16 - Holly Fulton is a womenswear and accessories designer living and working in East London.

Born in Scotland, Holly studied in Edinburgh before going on to the prestigious Masters at the Royal College of Art. She established her eponymous label in 2009 after gaining industry experience in London and Paris.

Holly won Elle New Designer 2010, Scottish Young Designer 2009 and 2010, Elle Talent Launch Pad 2010 and Emerging Talent Accessories at British fashion awards 2010. She was a part of London’s Fashion East platform for two seasons before being awarded sponsorship and support from the UK's NEWGEN initiative five seasons in a row.

The Holly Fulton label epitomises modern relaxed luxury. Attention to detail, complex graphic embellishment and witty twists are what make Holly’s work instantly recognisable. Hand rendered, digitally manipulated print coupled with unusual fabrications and embellishment create strong unified looks, from top to toe.

Since her debut collection in February 2009 Holly has developed her own unique visual language, drawing upon a dizzying array of sources, from art deco lines and Bauhaus shapes, to pop art painting and psychedelic illustration. Rich multi-layered surfaces reflect a genuine love of both art history and popular culture. The research of a collection is of paramount importance to Holly, whose references have ranged from Joan Collins to Lady Chatterley, Margate to Mexico. Jewellery completes what Holly calls her ‘total look’, often cleverly worked into the clothing itself.

 • CARRO ALLEGORICO.
