The Carnival of Gallipoli is among the best known of Puglia. Its tradition is very old and is documented , as well as records and documents in the eighteenth century , as well as folkloric roots that sink their roots in medieval times , handed down today by the popular spirit . The first edition dates back to 1941 and in 2014 will be the edition number 73 .
The carnival is organized by the Association of Carnival Factory , founded in February 2013 with the objective to organize, promote and revive the Carniva
